CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
v A
“Talent Hunt” programme was conducted on 30 Sept- 1 Oct, 2019 to explore and
nourish the talent of college and channelize it to Youth Festival, 2019.
Total
13 activities were organized under five categories like Poem Recitation,
Rangoli Making, Poster Making and so on.
v Diwali
Mela was organized on 18 October, 2019 which was visited by schools,
polytechnic and other institutes of Meham, as were invited for.
v On
11 November, 2019 National Education Day was celebrated in commemoration of Maulana
Abul Kalam Azad, highlighting the importance of the education.
v A
“Falguni Mahotsav” was celebrated on 28-29 Feburury, 2019 in which Students
participated in dance and singing competitions.
v Participated
in Rangoli Competition under SVEEP activities on 07.10.2019 PG College for Women,
Rohtak.
v Participated
in Zonal Youth Festival dated from 8 to 10 November 2019.and obtained 3 rd
position.
v Participated in Inter Zonal Youth Festival
dated from 13 to 15 November.
Commerce Deptt. Activities
Following
activities were conducted in the department during the session 2019-20
1. A “Rakhi Making Competition” was held on 14
august, 2019 to indoctrinate the creativity in students.
2. An “Advertisement Making and Role Playing Contest”
was held on 13 Sept, 2019 to develop the marketing skills in commerce students
so that education could be made job oriented.
3. A Quiz was held on 14 Oct, 2019 to prepare
the students to face the competitive exams.
4. A “Mehndi Competition” was conducted on 16
Oct, 2019.
5. A discussion was held on Union Budget,
2020-21 on 1 Feb, 2019 as it was discussed and presented in parliament by our
Finance minister i.e. Nirmala Sitaraman.
6. A speech and Poetry competitions were held in commemoration of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati on 18 Feb, 2019. Theme was
“Contribution of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati at Social Front”.
