IQAC

IQAC of our college ensures the effective and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial tasks timely. This cell continuously monitors the quality of academic and research programs of staff members. The cell plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall development of students.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of our college had laid down some points for the staff members and students. A detailed plan had been chalked out for the current session. The agenda of IQAC revolves around below points: -

 1. Quality Assessment: Assessing and evaluating the overall quality and standards of education and services in the college.

2. Accreditation: Preparing and guiding the college through accreditation processes and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

 3. Continous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance teaching, learning and administrative processes.

4. Data Collection and Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data related to academic and administrative activities to make informed decisions.

5. Feedback Mechanism: Establishing feedback mechanisms for students, faculty and staff members.

6.Curriculum Development: Reviewing and updating the curriculum to align with industries and academic standards.

7.Faculty Development: Planning and organizing workshops, seminars and training programs for faculty development.

8. Infrastructure Development: Monitoring and planning for the improvement of infrastructure and facilities.

9. Research and Publications: Promoting research activities and encouraging publication among faculty.

10. Student Support Services: Ensuring the availability of support services such as counselling, career guidance, and extracurricular activities.

11. Social Responsibility: Encouraging community engagement and social responsibility initiatives.

12. Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR): Preparing and submitting the AQAR to the accrediting agencies, summarizing the quality improvement activities throughout the year.

13. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and statutory requirements.

14. Strategic Planning: Developing long-term strategic plans for the college’s growth and development.

15. Feedback form Stakeholders: Engaging with various stakeholders including students, teachers, alumni, and employers.

IQAC agenda for Students: -

 ·         To prepare academic and co-curricular activities for each session during the beginning.

·         To organize various fairs, workshops, and seminars.

·         To organize mentor-mentee group meetings at regular intervals.

·         All the cells, societies, and units must organize various activities during the whole year like poster making, essay writing, speech, quiz competitions, etc.

·         To enhance teaching and learning methods through ICT and PPT.

·         The sports department must organize sports meetings.

·          The women cell is directed to organize various lectures, seminars, and workshops on health and hygiene.

·         The Science Society must organize science exhibitions in each session.

·         To organize an Orientation program for the fresher student.

·         Departments must organize various extension lectures, interclass, and intercollegiate departmental programs.

·          To organize blood donation camps in the college campus in collaboration with YRC, NCC, and NSS.

·          To organize Annual prize and convocations in college.

·         To celebrate various memorandum days in college like Shahid Diwas, Army Day, Navy Day, Republic day, Independence day Science day, Mathematics day, etc.

·         To organize remedial classes for academically weak students by each department.

·         To organize Alumni meets at regular intervals.

IQAC Agenda for Teaching Faculty: -

 IQAC took responsibility for various quality enhancement programs and ensuring Academic Excellence. The cell assessed and evaluated the overall performances of the departments and the feedback of the students. The following initiatives had been promoted to achieve Academic Quality Excellence: -

 ·         To prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR).

·         To conduct the mentor-mentee sessions with the students.

·         To conduct assignments and tests regularly.

·         Staff must participate in workshops/seminars/refresher courses/orientations organized by different colleges and universities.

·         To conduct online classes through various online platforms like YouTube channels, Google Classroom, Google Meet, PPT, etc.

·          Staff members must publish research papers in the UGC Care list.

·         To conduct practical examinations under the UG board.

·          To submit annual API records.

 

IQAC Agenda for Administrative Staff /Librarian: -

 

·          To focus on Smart Classrooms.

·          To convert the library into an e-library. 

·          To lay demand for books by the library from all departments.

·          To enhance A.C. facilities in the library and reading room.

·         To enhance the internet bandwidth into lease line.

      Assessment measures for students/faculty:-

 ·         Report of all the departments, committees, cells, and clubs submitted to the office.

·         Regular mentor–mentee meetings discussion in detail.

·         Feedback committee collects feedback forms for each year.

·         Feedback committee submit a detailed analysis of the feedback form.

·         An Action Taken Report was formed.
